What is an aluminum billet?
It is one of the types of products whose raw materials are made of aluminum.
Aluminum billets are produced in the form of semi-made castings.
Application of aluminum billets:
It is mainly used in aluminum extrusion industry and is produced by continuous casting or DC method.
Aluminum extrusion is a method in which aluminum billets are converted to profiles with a specific surface.
In the extrusion method, aluminum metal enters the special mold with hydraulic pressure and after cooling, it becomes the desired product. The application of these profiles is different and they are mostly used in the construction industry.
